New sofa

Last weekend, we picked out a new sofa for our living room. Can you believe that we have not changed our sofa set for the last 30 years?

Anyways, this year, since my mom retired already and has more time on her hands to spend at home, we thought that this must be the best time to fix up and start re-decorating the house :-) We also bought a new Christmas tree!

It also just dawned on me that because I'm getting married next year and would be moving out already right after that, this might be the last Christmas i will be spending at home as someone who really lives there.
